Child Safety Responsibility
SUMMERSALT expects children and young people who participate in gymnastics to have a safe and happy experience and we are responsible for the care and protection of our members under 18. Gymnastics Victoria and SUMMERSALT are collectively a Child Safe Child Friendly sport and organisation.
Environmental Responsibility
Gymnastics provides the fundamentals for not only other sports, but for life as well. So, if we are dedicating our entire business to ensuring your child has the best head start in life, we better make sure we are doing our part to ensure these kids, and the kids of tomorrow enjoy the world as we have known it. We endeavour to source environmentally sustainable, recycled and/or ethical sourced products, from our gym floor to our office equipment.
We are a proud member of Sports Environment Alliance (SEA). They live by the mission of leading, educating, and inspiring our sport community members to live, work, play, and spectate more sustainably in Australasia.
Special Olympics Young Athletes is an early childhood play program for children with and without intellectual disabilities, ages 2 to 8 years old.
Young Athletes introduces basic sport skills, like running, kicking and throwing.
